dan (chivas) was cool enough to let me drive his stage 3 turbo z today and it was pretty wild! it was such a strange feeling to be able to break the rears loose while on a roll from first gear. i didn't even floor it and the tires broke loose. lol. the car is tame below 3K rpm but once the boost kicks in, there's a very violent snap that pulls the car like no other. the funniest thing was the HKS SS BOV scared the crap out of everyone on the street! haha. there was this old couple who literally jumped in confusion when i passed by. i almost felt sorry for them. craziness! i loved the power of the car, but for some strange reason i still love the NA's smooth power curve. maybe i'm just not used to the abrupt power spike after 3K rpm, but my slow NA isn't all that bad... lol. to be quite serious tho, i think some of the younger drivers should opt for the NA, especially if it's their first car. from my quick run around the block today, i could tell that some people can get into some serious trouble with the power if you don't know how to handle it. well maybe one day i'll have a turbo of my own, but as for now, livin' with an NA ain't all the bad, right guys? lol.
